The reaction channel that went quiet
Jada's split-screen reactions to viral clips were pulling 200K views a week. Then her earnings dropped to zero overnight.
What happened
Jada found trending clips on other apps, put them in the top half of the screen, and filmed herself laughing underneath. Sometimes she added a caption like "I can't 😂".
After four months, a notice appeared in Business Suite: "shared content that was unoriginal, or repurposed content from other sources with limited added value." Her account was de-monetized for 90 days, and $640 in accrued earnings was put on hold.
The rule behind it
Watching along and making faces doesn't count as commentary. Meta treats it as minor editorialization, so the clip is still somebody else's work.

Getting paid by following the rules
- Stop posting watch-along reactions immediately. More of them can extend the 90 days.
- Rebuild the format: pause the clip and add a real take, a fact, a story or a joke that only Jada would make. Her face and ideas become the focus.
- Post a solid run of original reels, then appeal once. Don't bulk-delete the old ones.
If you deleted the borrowed clip, would anything worth watching be left? That's your originality test.
