The short version
One strike is a warning. Strikes 2 through 6 limit features. From strike 7, you're blocked from posting for longer and longer.

What it means for you
Severe policies can add extra restrictions, like losing access to ads or Live, from the first strike. Meta says these restrictions apply to Facebook accounts, though strikes count across both apps. Pages can also lose recommendations, reach and monetization.
| Strikes | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1 | Warning only |
| 2 – 6 | Specific features limited for a time, such as posting in groups |
| 7 | 1-day block on creating content |
| 8 | 3-day block |
| 9 | 7-day block |
| 10+ | 30-day block |
✓ Do
- Use the first-strike removal option if you qualify.
✕ Don't
- Let warnings pile up.
Heads upMeta's account-disabling page separately says that after 5 strikes it may add 30-day restrictions or remove the account. Thresholds aren't consistent across Meta's own pages, so treat any strike seriously.
